Record Rainfall Blamed For Slow Business In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ)--A wet summer is proving bad for business in Ocean City.

According to WJZ's media partner, The Baltimore Sun, Maryland's beaches have seen fewer visitors than last year during nine of the last 12 weeks.

Ocean City's mayor blames that on record rainfall in June.

But the weather is starting to cooperate, and business is already on the rebound.
