Ravens Invasion: Football Fans Pack Stevenson University For Practice

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Football fans come out in full force to watch the Baltimore Ravens take the field at Stevenson University.

Linh Bui reports it was the team's final off-site practice of the preseason.

The mood was electrifying.

"Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens for winning Super Bowl XLVII," a man said.

Decked out in purple and black, Ravens fans filled Mustang Stadium to watch the world champions in action.

Showing their pride, diehard fans got up close and personal with the Super Bowl stars, snapping photos and scoring autographs.

Quarterback Joe Flacco and wide receiver Jacoby Jones met some extremely excited fans.

"It was awesome!" a little girl said.

Jones was very impressed with a young fan's rendition of the Ray Lewis squirrel dance.

"I think it's wonderful so the families can come and bring the young kids," a fan said.

The Ravens are gearing up for their next preseason game. Thursday, they play Carolina at home.

Fans are pumped for another spectacular season, and back-to-back Super Bowl championships.

The season opener is Sept. 5. The Ravens face the Broncos in Denver.
