GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ)– Anne Arundel County police arrest a man and a woman, who they say were attempting to burglarize an occupied home in Glen Burnie.

It happened Friday around 12:13 p.m. in the 100-block of 2nd Avenue S.W.

Police say a 14-year-old boy was home alone when he says a man tried to enter his home while a woman was knocking on the front door.  The teen called 911.

That man has been identified as Christopher Northcraft, 26, of Brooklyn Park. The woman has been identified as Brandy Bowman, 27, of Millersville.

When Northcraft managed to enter the home, the 14-year-old told him to leave. Northcraft then ran toward the 100-block of 2nd Avenue, where officers took him into custody.

Bowman was arrested at the scene of the burglary.

Both suspects are charged with various degrees of burglary.
