WEATHER BLOG: Unsettled Weather

Good evening! The past couple of days have brought us the warmest/hottest weather that we have experienced in about a month. Dew points are not terrible for August standards, but it is rather humid. It will be turning a little more humid Wednesday night and Thursday. A warm night is upon us with readings up somewhat from Tuesday night.

Thursday is a bit tricky, as we have been stating all week long. If there is enough sun, temps could get very close to where they were Wednesday, in the upper 80s to near 90 by the afternoon. A cold front will then edge closer to the mid-Atlantic so we have to cover for a few showers and T-storms in the region. Models are becoming more and more progressive with getting the front out of the way by Friday, allowing dry and cooler air to work its way into the forecast for the weekend.
