WEATHER BLOG: Labor Day Sunday

Surface map early Sunday morning shows an area of low pressure over southern Maine with a weakening front across the Northeast and into the Ohio Valley. This front will wash out early and the airmass from the mid-Atlantic to New England will remain warm and humid Sunday and Monday. There are only scattered clouds around early Sunday morning so there will definitely be some sun. It will be another hot one with highs again in the lower 90s Sunday afternoon. The maximum heat index in the afternoon will be in the upper 90s.
