#mdwx: We’ve managed to make it through most of the Labor Day weekend without excessive rainfall. There have been a few showers and thunderstorms scattered to isolated across the region and a few more are popping up in NE Maryland around Cecil County. I think the worst of the activity Monday should remain to our NE with more areas dry than anything. A few showers and thunderstorms aren’t out of the question though, mainly scattered in nature during the late afternoon and evening. Temps should at least approach 90 again thanks to intervals of sunshine.
A slow-moving front from the Great Lakes will sag to our south overnight bringing chances for showers and t-storms overnight that should come to an abrupt end Tuesday. Drier and cooler air will then be ushered in for the remainder of the work-week. Temps Wednesday-Friday will be in the low 80s with low humidity.
