Search Resumes For Swimmer Who Went Missing In Potomac River

POTOMAC, Md. (AP) — Crews are returning to the Potomac River to search for a man who went missing while swimming.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief Scott Graham says the man in his 20s was near the Great Falls overlook on the Virginia side on Monday evening when he began to struggle and went under.

The search involving teams from Montgomery and Fairfax counties was called off Monday night, but Graham says teams are resuming their search Tuesday morning.
