Coast Guard Sets Up Security Zone For NFL Kickoff

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Coast Guard is setting up a temporary security zone in Baltimore's Inner Harbor during the NFL kickoff event.

The security zone will limit navigation by commercial traffic and prohibit recreational waterway users on Thursday from 5 p.m. until midnight.

The zone includes all waters of the Inner Harbor from shoreline to shoreline and with eastern boundary extending from the National Aquarium to the Rusty Scupper.

Vessels already in the zone are not required to depart the security zone, but entering or operating in the security zone is prohibited unless authorized by the captain of the port of Baltimore.
