Md. Man Arrested For Impersonating Police Officer

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say they've arrested a man for impersonating a police officer.

Police say they were called to a Towson 7-Eleven last week for a report of a man identifying himself as a police officer. Police say when they arrived they found Jeffrey Pianowski of Parkville wearing a polo shirt that said "police" across the back. He was also allegedly wearing a badge and a holster with an air pistol on his side.

Police say police equipment including handcuffs, badges, clothing, patches and replica weapons were found in his car and home, along with firearms and ammunition. Police say they found at least one person who reported Pianowski attempted to pull him over for a traffic stop.

Pianowski did not appear to have a listed phone number.
