Tractor-Trailer Gets Stuck In Cecil County, Causes Traffic Mess

ELKTON, Md. (WJZ) —  A stalled tractor-trailer creates a mess for drivers in Cecil County.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday on I-95 South, near Exit 109 in Elkton.

The truck was carrying an oversized load from Delaware into Maryland.

When the driver pulled over to wait for a police escort, the vehicle’s rear wheels caught on the grass.  The truck ended up in the ditch and had to be towed back onto the highway.

Two of the four lanes were shut down for a time.  There were no injuries.
