Glen Burnie Man Charged In Home Shooting Death

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Glen Burnie, and detectives say the suspect and the victim knew each other.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning on Arbor Drive, where police say a homeowner shot a man who had been allowed into the house.

Police say Matthew Martin Pinkerton, who lives at the home, faces charges, including second-degree murder and manslaughter. Court records don't identify a defense lawyer.

The victim, identified as Kendall Arnaz Green, was found dead by police on the front porch of the home. His body was taken to the medical examiner's office.

Police say Pinkerton, 34, and Green, 25, knew each other.

Detectives consider the shooting domestic-related. The motive is under investigation.
