WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro says riders on the red and orange lines can expect longer waits this weekend.

Metro says that beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through system closing on Sunday, orange lines trains will operate every 24 minutes.

The same will be true on the red line, with the exception of between Dupont Circle and Fort Totten, where trains will operate every 12 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
