The Cleveland Browns have traded the number 3 overall pick from a year ago to the Indianapolis Colts. It’s a shocking move in my opinion. You don’t typically see players moved in trades after the season has started, especially big name players like RIchardson. This means the Colts now have 2 of the top 3 picks from last years draft. The Colts give up their first overall pick from the 2014 draft.
It’s fairly easy to say the Colts got the better end of this deal, but it depends on if Cleveland gets their QB of the future with next years pick. Names like Boyd, Manziel, Bridgewater and Mariota will be the top choices. Everyone keeps saying the Browns are rebuilding, but i believe they could have kept Richardson and rebuilt with him. He was only on the team for 1 year. I do feel bad for Browns fans, they have had 19 different starting QB’s since 1999.
