Tom Reed is the Cleveland Browns beat writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Tom joined Ed & Steve to talk about the trade of Trent Richardson to the Colts for a 2014 1st round pick.

Steve asked Tom why would the Browns trade away Trent Richardson. Tom said it was on the 20 year anniversary of the Browns cutting Bernie Kosar, and that it all leads to the Browns trying to get a franchise QB in the draft next year. Tom said it is bizarre to see a team give up on a season after two weeks.
Ed then asked what will be the reaction from veteran players on the Browns team. Tom said that's an excellent question and the best question of the day. He says guys like Joe Thomas and Alex Mack could be guys who lash out on the team giving up so early.
