Man Faces Attempted Murder Charges For Double Shooting Near Pikesville
PIKESVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—Baltimore County police have arrested and charged a man for a double shooting near Pikesville.
Police say around 10 p.m. on Sept. 7, Brandon Hinton, 20, opened fire on two men in the 6900-block of Blanche Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates a group of people were at the intersection of Nadine Drive and Brookmill Road when police say they were approached by Hinton, who pulled out a weapon and opened fire, striking the two victims. He then fled the scene on foot.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Another adult male victim of this incident was located at an area hospital, where he had gone for treatment.
The injuries to both victims were non-life threatening.
Hinton is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and is currently being held without bail.
