2 Critically Injured When Pickup, Car Crash

PASADENA, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police say two people have been critically injured after a car hit a pickup truck on Route 100 West in Pasadena.

Police say the vehicles were traveling west in the right lane of Route 100 West about 2 a.m. Saturday. Officers say the car struck the truck on its right rear side, causing both vehicles to spin.

Authorities say the car overturned on the roadway, ejecting the driver, and came to rest in the median. The truck came to rest in a wooded area.

Police say 27-year-old Devin Grey Fraser of Pasadena, the driver of the car, and 60-year-old Kenneth John Kemp of Pasadena, who drove the pickup truck, were taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with life threatening injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
