HYATTSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — One person was struck and killed by a commuter train in Prince George’s County Monday night, halting train rides back to Baltimore.

It happened near Baltimore Avenue and Decatur Street in Hyattsville around 6 p.m.

Police say the man was walking on the tracks while the train was approaching. The train’s conductor sounded a horn, but the man did not move and was struck.
