Ravens Party Bus Woman Says She's Not A Stripper

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Party bus brawl. A Ravens star was injured after he was hit over the head with a champagne bottle. Sources tell WJZ Jacoby Jones was out with multiple other players when he was injured by a stripper.

But that woman, named "Sweet Pea," now says she is not a stripper.

Coach John Harbaugh says he was not impressed at the early morning antics of some of his team.

Jacoby Jones is used to getting hit on the football field, but he was far from M&T Bank Stadium when he took a hard hit early Monday morning.

According to a report that first aired on TMZ, Jones was attending Bryant McKinnie's birthday party at a D.C. nightclub. He was inside a party bus with other Ravens players when a brawl broke out and an exotic dancer smashed Jones in the head with a giant champagne bottle.

A police source told a D.C. affiliate that Jones was profusely bleeding.

"Sweet Pea" broke her silence late Monday night on Twitter.

"I would like to clear up the fact that I'm a waitress & the girls on the pic aren't a bunch of strippers. Jacoby & I had a verbal confrontation & that was it!!! I never hit him with a bottle & I wish ppl (sic) would stop spreading lies on the internet," she Tweeted.

"It's not something we want to be known for. I would like to think it's not something those guys would want to be known for. It's nothing to be proud of," said Coach John Harbaugh.

Ravens fans we spoke with say they're not too impressed, either.

"Yeah, I'm a little disappointed in him, because we expect more from our players," said one fan.

"It was after hours. It was coming home from a birthday party. I can't imagine what was going on inside the bus," said another.

Some say Jones should focus less on partying and more on coming back from his knee injury.

"It would be nice to have him back on the field," said a fan.

"He'll be back on the field. Those guys are tough; he'll be back on the field," another said.

ESPN commentator Ray Lewis says the incident shows a lack of leadership on the Ravens team.

"When you have an incident like last night, the first thing a leader is going to do is find some way to dissolve everything that's going on or actually dissolve before it come to that type of head," Lewis said.

Team officials say Jones is fine. Both he and McKinnie attended practice sessions on Monday.

Coach Harbaugh said he did speak with the team regarding the incident, telling them, "Nothing good happens after midnight."

McKinnie has seen similar trouble. In 2006, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, along with several of his Vikings teammates, after they were accused of performing sex acts in public on a boat.
