HANOVER, Md. (WJZ)— Police are looking for two suspects in connection to a jewelry store theft at Arundel Mills Mall.

It happened Tuesday around 2 p.m. at Ultra Diamonds jewelry store.

The store manager told police a man carrying a yellow plastic bag entered the store and looked through the display cases. When he reached the watch display case, the suspect pulled a hammer from the yellow bag and broke the display glass. Police say the suspect proceeded to take three expensive “Rolex” watches from the display case and fled the store on foot, meeting up with a second suspect.

Police say the two men left the mall and ran toward the parking lot. Officers searched, but were unable to locate the suspects.

There was no assault or injuries reported of store employees.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is attempting to locate any potential witnesses who were in the store at the time of this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Western District station at 410-222-6155 or the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-8610.
