Police Arrest Suspect In Domestic Assault

LAUREL, Md. (WJZ) -- Howard County Police arrest a man wanted for assault and false imprisonment in a domestic incident.

Taylor King Pepe, 19, of Howard County, was wanted for assaulting a woman.

The victim was taken to Howard County General Hospital early Thursday morning. She told detectives that she was assaulted inside Pepe's home.

Police say the victim had injuries to her face and body.

Detectives believe that during the assault, Pepe threatened to kill the victim and ordered her not to leave the house.

Pepe was also believed to be in possession of an assault rifle-style weapon.

He was arrested around 2:45 p.m. in Laurel without incident.
