Woman Dies In Car Crash On I-70
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland woman is dead after a solo car crash on I-70 in the Hagerstown area.
The Maryland State Police say the crash happened Wednesday at about 5 p.m. on eastbound I-70 at exit 28.
Troopers say Jessica Leigh Nave, 33, was changing lanes when she went off the roadway onto an embankment, striking several trees. Troopers say Nave was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from her 2001 BMW convertible.
Nave, a resident of Keedysville, was taken to a hospital but died of her injuries.
