Bob Haynie: College And Pro Football Picks
I had another strong showing last weekend with my football picks. A second straight 5 and 1 week has me believing that I actually might have a clue when it comes to pigskin prognostication. Not enough of a clue to make me quit my day job, however.
Maryland drubbed WVU and even though they lost the game, Michigan State did cover the 4.5 point spread against Notre Dame. My only loser was BYU. The Cougars, laying 6.5, were beaten outright at home by Utah.
In the NFL, I was prefect with the picks as the Lions and Bengals, both getting points, were victorious. The Raiders, in defeat, did cover the 16.5 they were getting against the Broncos.
I am now 13-4-1 on the year.
Can I go 6 and 0 this weekend?
