Mike Preston writes for the Baltimore Sun and is a part of our Monday Morning Quarterback. Mike travels with the team on their road trips and gives out grades to all the different positions and areas of the Ravens play.
Mike’s grades were as expected pretty low, and for the most part failing grades.
Mike didn’t hold back when it came to the offensive positions, as usual calling it just how he sees it. Mike gave Joe Flacco and “F” and also gave an “F” to the Running Backs and the Offensive Line. The Receivers got the only passing grade on offense, they were given a “C”.
The entire defense failed in Mike’s opinion. The defensive line was given an “F” as they failed to get pressure or clog up the running lanes. The Linebackers also received an “F” as they showed poor tackling and coverage skills throughout the entire game. The secondary got the “highest” grade of the defense receiving a “D”.
The special teams got a “C” Sam Koch was okay in his performance and Justin Tucker converted 2 short field goals.
Head coach John Harbaugh got an “F” from Mike for his team coming out flat and for his inability to make in game adjustments.
