Listen to the interview to get Cal’s perspective on the playoffs.

Cal discusses the atmosphere at the Pirates game last night and his experience in the broadcast booth. He says the noise level was intense but last year at the Orioles playoff games he wishes there were a noise meter because it was possibly louder.

He was a great ball player but Cal admits he’s still learning the broadcast game. He’s still picking up the rules about when to talk and when not to talk. Cal gets to broadcast for the Dodgers and Braves game as well. He’s enjoying being in the playoff environment and seeing the excitement from the teams and the fans.
