WEATHER BLOG: Major Cooldown Ahead
We topped out at 90 degrees Saturday at BWI. That's nearly 20 degrees above the normal for this time of year which is around 70 degrees!
We will have another unseasonably warm day Sunday as well, then changes head our way. As we go into the start of the work-week, the system that brought snow and severe weather to locations out west will be pushing into the mid-Atlantic. It will combine with some of the moisture from Tropical Storm Karen and bring some much-needed rainfall to our neighborhood. Lingering showers will stick around Tuesday morning with models showing a drying trend by Tuesday afternoon. Temps will fall into the lower 70s starting Tuesday.
