The band of rain and thunderstorms associated with a very potent cold front has pushed through the area bringing cooler, more seasonable temps and a decrease in humidity. Expect seasonable weather for Tuesday with highs around 70 degrees and a decrease in cloud cover.
We will be watching the Wednesday and Thursday forecast very closely as models are trending toward the formation of a coastal area of low pressure off the Carolinas. For now, the going forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of rainfall Wednesday evening into Thursday. Either way, cloud cover will certainly be a factor for us mid-week.
