Escaped Anne Arundel Co. Inmate Recaptured In West Baltimore
ANNAPOLIS Md. (WJZ) -- An escaped inmate in Anne Arundel County is back behind bars.
Police say Elwood Veney walked off at the State Highway Administration on Defense Highway. He was seen running Tuesday toward Generals Highway in the direction of the Annapolis Mall.
According to police, Veney was recaptured late Wednesday evening in West Baltimore.
He was being held until August 2017 for robbery with a deadly weapon and firearm possession.
In addition, he could now face potential escape charges.
