Dan Marino with Ed & Steve

Steve asks: What is going on with Ravens offense?

Dan: Its an adjustment to not having the same guys you used to win Super Bowl. The personnel isn't what it was a year ago.

Ed: How do you make mid-season adjustments?

Dan: Think it's got to be a mind set when, if you want to run the ball, some games if you get behind your not going to run the ball. You have to get ahead then run the ball. They are 3-3 and are in a division they can win and get in the playoffs then who knows what will happen.

Steve: Are you a Dalton believer and are they division winners?

Dan: They are a good team. It's going to be Cincinnati or Baltimore. Cincinnati is a real football team, they are very athletic. Can Andy Dalton win a big game for them? That's the difference between a division winner and a wild card quarterback.

Ed: Are the Chiefs as good as their record shows?

Dan: Defiantly a good football team. Their defense is excellent, they had 10.5 sacks last week. They look like a playoff team because of their defense.

Steve: What you think about Jim Irsay about Manning?

Dan: Manning is the last guy you have to worry about getting in his head. He is one of the hardest working guys in the league and he probably just shacked his head and just said that Irsay.

Ed: Are you surprised how week NFC East is?

Dan: Yes, it's going to be interesting to see how it plays out. RGIII is still recovering and a new coach in Philadelphia, and New York is out of it.

Steve: Your thoughts on OJ Brigance and what he is going through

Dan: He was an incredible guy and teammate. Solid linebacker, solid football player, and I look back at how he was able to make the team, on special teams. He was an outstanding special teams player for us.
