85-Year-Old Man Assaulted While Waiting For Escort Outside Glen Burnie Hotel
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- An elderly man is assaulted in the parking lot of a Glen Burnie hotel. What's more shocking is the reason he was there in the first place.
Police say two men punched the 85-year-old in the face while he was sitting behind the wheel of his car at the Days Inn on Ritchie Highway.
The suspects grabbed a bag of money from the man then fled on foot.
Investigators later found the victim was at the hotel to meet up with a female escort he met online.
