2 Arrested For Taking Scrap Metal From Severna Park Construction Site

SEVERNA PARK, Md. (WJZ) — Two people have been arrested for taking scrap metal from a construction site in Severna Park.

A fire investigator went to the 500-block of Saint Martins Lane to follow-up on a fire that had recently occurred there.

He noticed a man and woman taking scrap metal from the construction site.

The investigator contacted the property manager who said that he did not give permission for anyone to remove anything from the construction site or the fire scene.

Paul Wilson, 36, and Kelly Stevens, 38, both of Crownsville, drove away but were stopped and placed under arrest.

Both suspects were charged with theft under $100 and theft over $100.

Two steel support beams and assorted metal ducting were recovered from the truck and returned to the site.
