Police Probe Possible Abuse After Owner Finds Dog Dead In The Woods

DEALE, Md. (WJZ)—Police in Anne Arundel County are investigating a case of possible animal abuse after a dog is found dead by his owner.

Police say the owner let his dog, Marley, a terrier mix, outside Friday morning in Deale. But the dog never returned.

When the owner went out to look for the dog in the 6000-block of Allwine Avenue, they found the 3-year-old dog dead.

It had suffered an unknown wound to its shoulder.
