Prince George's Police Hold Car Seat Check In Bowie

BOWIE, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are hosting a car seat check for parents this weekend.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Community Federal Credit Union on Hall Road in Bowie.

Police say car technicians will make sure that car seats and boosters are properly installed. Appointments are not necessary, and each car seat check takes roughly a half hour.
