1 Dead, 3 Hurt in Head-On Crash In Md.

GERMANTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a man was killed and three people were hurt in a head-on collision in Germantown.

It happened about 6 p.m. Sunday on Great Seneca Highway. Police say a car driven by James Thomas Marks, 52, of North Bethesda crashed head-on into a vehicle operated by Kim Dung Nguyen, 55, of Germantown.

Marks, Nguyen and two passengers in Nguyen's car were taken to local hospitals. Officers say one passenger, 77-year-old Thong Ba Huynh of Germantown, died of his injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
