UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say a man wanted in a 2008 homicide has been arrested in Texas.
Police say Efrain Antonio Osorio, 34, was arrested Thursday in Georgetown, Texas. He is awaiting extradition to Maryland.
Officers obtained a warrant for Osorio shortly after the slaying of Rigoberto Rouqu Portela.
Police say on Sept. 26, 2008, officers found Portela, 50, in Langley Park suffering from gunshot wounds. Portela later died of his injuries.
