WEATHER BLOG: BRRRRR!

#mdwx @chelseaweather: A cold front crossed our area around daybreak, dropping temps from the upper 40s, quickly to the 30s and yes... it even produced some snowflakes in parts of the area.

The precip associated with the cold front is pretty much over as much drier and colder air is working in behind it.

Clouds will start to break for some sun Tuesday afternoon as temps climb up to the low 40s. Breezy and gusty north winds will make things feel much colder than they actually are Tuesday afternoon and then temps will plummet overnight as the core of the cold air moves over our neighborhood.

Lows Tuesday night will drop to near record, into the low/mid 20s. Cold air will stick around through Wednesday night. Thursday we will be chilly with highs in the low 50s... then we expect to warm up to near 60 by the end of the work-week on Friday.
