Frederick Rescue Mission Offers Free Flu Shots
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- More than a 100 people got free flu shots during an event at the Frederick Rescue Mission.
The Frederick Rescue Mission offered the flu shots Friday from noon to 1:30 p.m.
The shots were offered as a way to provide preventive care to the city's low-income and homeless population.
The organization's community outreach coordinator, Ted Kwiatek, says the organization would like to make the flu shots an annual offering.
