Frederick County Bans Outdoor Burning Amid Dry, Windy Conditions

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — The Frederick County fire marshal is banning all outdoor burning due to dry, windy conditions.

The agency issued the ban Tuesday, effective through 6 p.m. The notice says the weather conditions enhance the threat of wildfires.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources says it has not issued outdoor burning bans for any parts of the state.
