SYKESVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — A raw sewage leak causes some problems in Sykesville.

The Bureau of Utilities says more than 77,000 gallons of sewage spilled from a wastewater line near railroad tracks and the Patapsco River.

The leak is now repaired.

The Carroll County Health Department and the Maryland Department of the Environment will find out if the leak is having any effect on the Patapsco River.
