Police Seek Public’s Help In Identifying Body

WASHINGTON (AP) — Metropolitan police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman whose body was found in the Potomac River.

The body was found across from the 2600-block of Virginia Avenue, NW, on Nov. 1. Police say the woman is believed to be between 65 and 75 years old, and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police say the cause and manner of the woman’s death have not been determined.
