I think it will be very interesting to see what happens with how the carries are split up moving forward.
Normally, Rice plays two series, then Pierce gets in there, and then it repeats itself for the rest of the first half, then the process starts again in the third quarter.

Nope, Rice played the first series, then Pierce went. When the third quarter started, it was Pierce on the field, not Rice.
The Ravens may avoid discussing this, but it sure looked like they took some carries away from Rice and gave them to Pierce.
It is a delicate issue, just like the wildcat is, but the Ravens are only 6-6, and too bad about hurt feelings. They need to do whatever they have to do to win.
