Buses To Replace Trains On Section Of Blue Line

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says free shuttle buses will replace trains on a section of the blue line this weekend, and some passengers on other lines will wait longer for trains.

Metro says that beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through system closing on Sunday, the Arlington Cemetery station will be closed. Free shuttle buses will replace blue line trains between the Rosslyn and Pentagon stations.

On the yellow and green lines, trains will operate every 15 minutes, and on the orange line, trains will operate every 20 minutes.

Red line trains will also operate every 20 minutes, though from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. additional trains will run every 10 minutes between Grosvenor and Silver Spring.
