Coach Charged With Sex Abuse Of Teen Girl

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County Police have charged a private coach and tutor with sexual abuse of a minor.

Detectives said Tuesday that Daniel Sirotkin, 30, of Germantown has also been charged with third-degree sex offense.

Police say Montgomery County Public School officials told officers that a man hired by parents was engaging in inappropriate contact with students.

Sirotkin was charged for alleged offenses he committed against a teenage girl he was coaching and tutoring.

A phone number listed for Sirotkin was out of service, and a lawyer who represented him in a previous case did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
