Harbaugh: 'Who Doesn't Throw Snowballs When It Snows?'

BALTIMORE (CBS Baltimore/AP) -- Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh doesn't see anything wrong with a snowball fight.

After Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson blasted Ravens fans for throwing snowballs during Sunday's game and calling them the "worst fans in the NFL," Harbaugh took a playful jab back.

"Who doesn't throw snowballs when it snows?" Harbaugh said, according to BaltimoreRavens.com. "Maybe in Minnesota because they're so used to snow, maybe that's gotten old for them."

Harbaugh continued: "What do you want me to say? We have the best fans in the NFL, I can tell you that."

With a three-touchdown flurry over the final 125 seconds Sunday, the Ravens beat Minnesota 29-26 for their third straight win — all at home. The victory kept Baltimore (7-6) in front of Miami, San Diego and the New York Jets in the race for the final AFC wild-card slot.

Next up: A visit to Detroit for a Monday Night duel against the Lions.

"It's going to be tough. We've got to be ready, we've got to be at our best," Harbaugh said. "We'll have to play the best we've played all year."

That's because Baltimore is 6-1 at home and 1-5 on the road — the lone win coming at Miami on Oct. 6. Following the game in Detroit, the Ravens host New England before closing out the regular season in Cincinnati.
