Man Identified In Centennial Park Drowning

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) — Howard County Police are identifying a man whose body was found in Centennial Lake in Ellicott City after he apparently slipped on ice, fell into the lake and drowned.

Police said Monday that the man had been identified as Douglas Robert Morin, 60, of Elkridge. Police say no foul play is suspected in the death.

Police say Morin’s body was discovered Sunday morning by a citizen in Centennial Park. Morin’s family reported him missing on Sunday evening, and investigators found his vehicle near the park.
