Man Gets 3 Life Terms For Killing Md. Woman

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- A man has been sentenced to three concurrent life terms for killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend's mother in a rampage in Salisbury.

Myles Lyons, 21, pleaded guilty in October to first-degree murder for shooting Lakisha Jackson, 39, in November 2012. He also pleaded guilty to 19 other offenses.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that Lyons was sentenced Friday in Wicomico County Circuit Court.

Prosecutors say Lyons fatally shot Lakisha Jackson, shot and stabbed his ex-girlfriend Nicole Jackson, and shot her sister, Tyisha Jackson.

The two sisters survived, and Nicole Jackson's baby was safely delivered the same day as the shootings.
