FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Taylor Braun and Marcus Bjorklund each scored 28 points to propel North Dakota State past Towson 90-82 Saturday night.

The Bison (9-4) trailed briefly in the second half, but regained the lead when Lawrence Alexander drained a 3-pointer. Alexander added a layup, another 3-pointer and two free throws to spark a 19-8 run for North Dakota State, pushing the lead to 62-52 at the 10:54 mark.

Towson (7-6) used a run of their own to pull within three on a Jerrelle Benimon jumper. North Dakota State answered with Alexander hitting another 3-pointer and Bjorklund adding a pair of free throws and a jumper to make it 79-69 with 1:48 remaining.

North Dakota State shot 56 percent and committed just five turnovers. Alexander scored all 19 of his points in the second half.
