Saint Joseph's Beats Loyola 88-77

BALTIMORE, Md. (AP) -- Ronald Roberts Jr. had 20 points and led four teammates in double-digit scoring Saturday as Saint Joseph's held off a second-half surge by Loyola (Md) to win 88-77.

Langston Galloway opened with a 3-pointer and Saint Joseph's (6-4) led the whole way, ripping off a 17-0 run sparked by a 3-pointer by Isaiah Miles to finish the half with a 60-24 edge. The team's leading scorer, Galloway had 14 points by 10:42, making 5 of 7 from the field and 4 of 5 3-pointers.

Loyola (5-5) came out with a 9-3 run in the second half, then had runs of 8-0 and 7-0 and outscored the Hawks 53-28, but could get no closer than 10.

Miles and Chris Wilson each scored 17 for the Hawks and Galloway finished with 14.

Dylon Cormier led Loyola with 27 points and 11 rebounds, Jarred Jones scored 15 and Eric Laster, 10.
