Man Charged After Child Found Unrestrained In Van
HOLLYWOOD, Md. (AP) -- The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office has charged a man with reckless driving and numerous other offenses after deputies say they found a 2-year-old child unrestrained in a minivan.
Deputies received a report of a vehicle being driven recklessly about 12:35 a.m. Sunday in Hollywood. Police stopped a vehicle and say the driver was operating the minivan without the required Interlock Device. Officers also say the driver's 2-year-old was standing in the back of the minivan.
Donald Strickland, 34, of Great Mills was charged with driving a vehicle in violation of a restricted license, child neglect and other offenses.
