ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- Maryland fire investigators say one person is dead after a fire broke out in a mobile home in Cecil County.

The fire broke out early Thursday at the home on Blue Ball Road in Elkton. Officials say it took 50 firefighters an hour-and-a-half to control the one-alarm blaze.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Maryland State Police say the fire claimed the life of 39-year-old Curtis Lee Church.  No other injuries were reported.

Damage is estimated at $50,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of Church's death.
