WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says trains on four of its five lines will run every 20 minutes over the weekend while crews do work on the system.

Metro says beginning Friday and continuing through closing on Sunday, trains on the orange, blue, yellow and green lines will operate every 20 minutes.

On the red line, trains between Shady Grove and Glenmont will operate every 15 minutes. And from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., only trains between the Friendship Heights and Silver Spring stations will run every 8 to 10 minutes.
